Download & Install Turbotax

1. After purchasing TurboTax, go to the TurboTax Download website.
2. Log in or "Create a TurboTax Account".



Steps to create a turbotax account

• Go to TurboTax website.
• Click on "Create Account".
• Enter personal details and generate a password.
• Verify your email by clicking on the link sent by TurboTax.
• Please select the appropriate tax product.
• Your account has been created, you can now log in.


3. Enter your license code in the pop-up window.
4. Select your operating system and click "Download".
5. download software.
6. Double-click the downloaded file to install it.
7. On the Ready to Install screen, select Install.
8. Your installation is complete.

Steps to Activate TurboTax

1. After the installation, you'll have to complete the activation process.
2. Enter the license code in the activation window. and select Next.
(You may have received this license code when you purchased TurboTax.)
3. The Select Activation Method screen appears.
4. Choose an activation method and complete the on-screen instructions.

Update the TurboTax Account information

The steps below will help you update your TurboTax email address, phone number, etc.

1. The very first step is to Sign In to your TurboTax account.
2. You will get this option on the left-hand panel, just above the “Sign Out” option.
3. You are now supposed to tap the “Edit” option next to the information that you want to change.
4. Once you have changed the information save it to update your account information.
